Fractional Stereotactic Radiosurgery (FSR) Cost Summary

What is FSR?

  • FSR is the newest form of AN treatments.

  • Many treatments are used to treat brain tumors rather than just one method.

The CyberKnife Robotic RadioSurgery System is the latest generation of non-invasive alternatives to surgery for the treatment of acoustic neuromas, as well as tumors throughout the body. Cyberknife treatment delivers radiation to brain tumors with extreme precision, while protecting healthy tissues and structures.

CyberKnife can even treat inoperable tumors and offers the most sophisticated non-invasive radiation treatment available, as other radiosurgery systems cannot treat tumors with the same level of accuracy and are more invasive.

FSR treatments have been known to be 25-30% less, cost wise, than the surgery route.  Still ranging around $65,000-$70,000, depending on where and how much treatment occurs.

*Please note- these are averages, and of course, final cost would be calculated if and when insurance is filed, where you have the treatment(s) done and also why type of treatment you choose.
